The Healers Café

Hi, it's Manon Bolliger (facilitator and retired naturopath with 30+ years of practice) and I want to welcome you to the Healers Cafe. I am so excited to be doing this series of interviews and what I'll be doing is, is asking all kinds of healthcare practitioners, doctors, healers of all types, to really share with all of you their experience, why they became healers, what called them what they think about this being a healer thing. Is it, a thing? Who's really healing in this, what they've experienced from their their interaction with clients and patients and what the takeaways and understanding of what the process of healing is all about and the process of life. So that's the essence of what I'm doing. I'm hoping that this will serve also for patients that have issues and are looking for different ways of approaching it. * De-Registered, revoked & retired after 30+ years of practice. Now resourceful & resolved to share with you all the tools to take care of your health & vitality!

Highlights from today's episode include:

Dr. Christina Bjorndal  08:47

Yeah, so the first step we want to understand is that there are four aspects to us as people. We have the physical, mental, emotional, and spiritual, and a holistic approach. We want to be investigating all four of those areas. But just speaking strictly on that physical side, understand that there are three macro systems in your body essentially. You have your neurotransmitters, you have your neuroendocrine or hormonal system, and then your organs of detoxification and immune system. And imbalances can lie in any one of those three areas.

Dr. Christina Bjorndal  11:36

I guess the main message I really like to leave people with is there's an explanation for your suffering. We just have to investigate it. And it naturally could be for sure on that physical level, but let's not forget the mental, emotional, spiritual sides of health too. I think that's the big problem with our system is it's focused solely on that physical level, unless you're seeing a psychologist, right.

Dr. Christina Bjorndal  13:35

Yeah, so the big thing is when I'm working with people, I talk about those four aspects, and then the three macro systems in a way to support ourselves are the foundation of health is diet, sleep, exercise, and then managing stress. So this managing stress piece involves looking at our thoughts and our emotions and how we behave and react in the world. And ultimately, the other two steps that I think are important is the environment and then wrapping everything up in love and compassion and this idea of spirituality, so to speak.

In this episode of The Healers Café, Dr. Manon Bolliger, ND, chats with Vaishali Nikhade who is a left brain engineer who transitioned to a right brain psychic.

For the transcript and to listen to the full story today! https://www.drmanonbolliger.com/vaishali-nikhade

Highlights from today's episode include:

Vaishali Nikhade (04:52):

think about it as we are all human beings and as a human being, we are like a spirit in a body. So we have this body and we have these senses, our five senses. And then as a spirit, we also have senses and the senses of the spirit are known as clairvoyance clairaudience. I'm sure you've heard at least one or two of them, but it comes from like clairvoyance is clear, seeing clear audiences, clear hearing, and claircognizance is clear knowing. So those are the senses of the spirit

Vaishali Nikhade (19:06):

So that's, as far as body senses are concerned, but as far as the spirit is concerned, the senses of the spirit, they do not have any bounds. They are not bounded by space and they are not bounded by time either. So how would that work? So they're not bounded by space, which means that I can be here and I can look at what's happening behind me without a camera. I can sense what's happening in the other room without having the camera, which is, I'm not bounded by space. So that just one example of not being bounded by space.

Vaishali Nikhade (33:26):

For instance, the people who did not go to work at nine-eleven, they just knew that something was wrong. So they didn't go and they can justify it by various means why they didn't go. But somehow they knew that something was off. Now, like I said, the difference between intuition and psychic, they cannot point their finger and say, what's wrong until it happens. But the psychic can tell that, yes, this is it. There's going to be a crash or there's going to be a disaster.

About Vaishali Nikhade:

I am a left brain engineer who transitioned to a right brain psychic. This podcast is my brainchild of combining physics and metaphysics. Come and watch the magic of how reality is interlinked in this unique one of a kind podcast....

Core purpose/passion: My mission is to combine physics and metaphysics - I am launching a podcast to demonstrate the same

Most Impact: Only awareness can shift things - heal the spirit and the spirit heals the body - but before any healings, the person has to be able to see that they are either stuck or need help -

In this episode of The Healers Café, Dr. Manon Bolliger, ND, chats with Dr Titus Chui, best selling author, award winning international speaker, and Functional Neurologist that specializes in Post-Concussion Syndrome.

Listen to the full story today! https://www.drmanonbolliger.com/dr-titus-chui

Highlights from today's episode include:

Dr Titus Chui  14:25

Number one first and foremost is giving people hope that even regardless if you've had a concussion, there are things you can do to heal. Healing is always possible. And that I'm a personal testament to that, to my whole journey. Number two, what I find with a lot of people, especially if they're already aware that they have a concussion. A lot of people I work with, patients, they have been to other doctors, and the doctors run their tests and then go, "There's nothing wrong with you, it's all in your head". So not only does that person have to deal with the physical and mental, emotional stress of their health challenge, then on top of that they're dismissed by their practitioner, not because there actually isn't anything going on, but it's because of their own lack of understanding around what actually happens with a concussion.

Dr Titus Chui  17:22

I think a lot of people have had concussions, that might not be the number one root cause for their symptoms. But I've worked with so many patients over the years that have changed their diet, they've taken supplements, there may be practicing yoga and meditation, yet they're still struggling. And I usually find that the missing ingredient number. one missing ingredient I see, at least with the patients I work with, is this whole picture of brain training. How to start to use, apply neuroplasticity, to rewire their brains and get their lives back

Dr Titus Chui  21:42

But the bigger framework that I've developed over the years, what I call root cause neurology, is the three pillars of brain health. That's one of the core foundations of my work, and what I did to heal from my concussion, and how I've helped many patients. The three pillars are like the physical brain, right, which we talked about earlier, the communication pathways like your cerebellum, and different things like somatic-based therapies like TMJ work, chiropractic adjustments, vestibular rehab, that all works on sculpting the neural pathways.

In this episode of The Healers Café, Dr. Manon Bolliger, ND, chats with Dr Hamid Elmyar, CEO, Podcast Host, is a Fulbright scholar, and speaks multiple languages

Listen to the full story today! https://www.drmanonbolliger.com/dr-hamid-elmyar

Highlights from today's episode include:

Dr. Hamid Elmyar  11:21

My philosophy in life is that power is in empowering others. As far as we have that in mind that to empower other people. And that's why I see the root causes when I mentioned a couple of problems, and in those communities, preventable diseases such as diarrhea, and bronchitis. There were other diseases, also preventable diseases, but lack of education, unfortunately, lack of awareness about health issues. And that those are the main causes, the root causes, lack of access to quality health, lack of basic education like illiteracy, and socioeconomic status. These all play an important role in people's health across the world, and especially in developing countries.

Dr. Hamid Elmyar  19:16

I realized that the healthcare professionals, unfortunately, especially during this pandemic time, also suffer somehow from the burden and burnout, and that's a major issue. If the healthcare professionals are not happy, what they do and they are not healthy and satisfied with the job that they're doing, then definitely it affects their productivity. It affects the way that they treat their patients

Dr. Hamid Elmyar  42:43

So the message is most of the belief that I have is that health is not limited to private practices in hospitals. It has to start from every individual communities, school systems, everywhere. And for that to happen, we need to raise awareness, we have to look for those underlying causes and root causes. And we have to have a collaborative, systematic approach to health in order to save people's lives. Also, not only helping our communities but health care professionals themselves as well.

About Dr Hamid Elmyar:

Hamid Elmyar, M.D. earned a master’s degree; from Montclair State University, Montclair, New Jersey.  As a medical professional having experienced firsthand the devastating consequences resulting from a lack of accessible public health education and awareness which often led to the unnecessary loss of life in his country of origin, Afghanistan, he decided to immigrate to the United States where he has made it his mission to bring public awareness to a worldwide audience.

He hosts a biweekly podcast, “With Dr. E”, which invites experts in health, education, and community development from around the globe to share their experience, knowledge and insight with the world. Recently, his program has highlighted the experiences of those confronting the current coronavirus pandemic and the resultant socioeconomic implications to better understand what effective leadership is and how it can help mitigate this health crisis.

Dr. Hamid Elmyar believes health is not limited to private practices and hospitals; it has to start from every individual. He is known for bringing world's health professionals from all specialties around the same table for an upstream approach to health in order to impact millions.

He strongly believes the insight and experiences of some of the world’s renowned leaders in clinical and public health should be shared broadly and his podcast aims to promote and facilitate this.

Dr. Elmyar is a Fulbright scholar, speaks multiple languages and resides in New Jersey.

My core purpose and philosophy in life is to empower and transform healers and communities. Because I believe that power is empowering others.
